"About
two weeks after we installed some of the DRIVER
ALERT™
Micro
3 and Micro 4 systems on a few of our trucks, one of our drivers
had an incident." "He was getting ready to
leave our maintenance yard and drive out to one of our construction
sites to service some heavy equipment with his Freightliner
Service truck.
He
had checked around his truck and everything was clear.
He then got into the cab and started his truck and while sitting
there another person had pulled a small truck up behind his
truck not realizing that the larger truck was about to leave.

In
March of 2004 I had the DRIVER ALERT™
Micro 3 Vehicle Backup Warning System installed on my 2004
Nissan 350Z Roadster and the appearance is excellent.
Shortly after I purchased my 2000 Chevrolet Pickup Truck new
in 2000 I had the DRIVER ALERT™
Mini 3 Vehicle Reversing Aid with the Digital Display installed.
Both systems work wonderfully. However, the new technology
and added convenience of the voice actually telling
me how far a person or an object is behind my car,
in feet and inches, is highly satisfactory.
I
am now considering having the DRIVER ALERT™
Micro 3 Vehicle Backup Warning Systems installed on my other
vehicles as well. I elected to have a professional install
my system on my car. It didn't take that long and the
small cost I paid for my installation is well worth preventing
an accident while backing up my car, especially in low light
situations, and avoiding damage to my car and possibly causing
an injury or worse to a pedestrian.
I

I installed the DRIVER ALERT Micro 5 system on my new 2007 Buick Lucerne and the system works very well and I believe much better than the OEM installation that requires looking in the review mirror to see the lights over the back window that tell you you're getting closer to something.
Here in Sun City a lot of people don't realize when someone is backing up and I've found the DRIVER ALERT Micro 5 to be a good safety tool to prevent an accident.
